Lottie Dolls has signed a three year deal with the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts to launch a line based on the Brownies.

Dolls, play-sets and a number of outfits will be available in the new collection scheduled to make its debut at London Toy Fair in January next year.

Ian Harkin, managing director and co-founder of Lottie Dolls, said: “The partnership with WAGGGS is a huge honour for our company.

“The tradition and values they and the Girl Guide and Girl Scout Movement have developed over the years has gained enormous respect from parents and communities all over the world.

“With Lottie, we want to empower children to be themselves and to demonstrate to them that they can achieve anything they set out to do. This is something the Girl Guide and Girl scout Movement has been doing for well over 100 years and WAGGGS since 1928.

“This certainly fits with our goal of making Lottie dolls empowering, relatable and age-appropriate.”

Anita Tiessen, chief executive of World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts, added: “We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Lottie Dolls. Empowering girls and young women to become leaders within their communities is at the heart of both organisations, so it is wonderful to partner with a brand that shares our values.

“We look forward to seeing this partnership flourish, as we work to achieve our goals, so girls can live better lives and reach their full potential.”
