Following its debut on BBC2's Dragon's Den, Linkee has partnered with John Adams Leisure as distributor of the innovative trivia game to the independent sector.

The games company will also facilitate the marketing and promotion of the game that attracted positive attention from the veteran Dragon, Duncan Bannatyne.

Dean Tempest, founder of Team Linkee, said: "We have built Linkee out of cafes while juggling jobs. But the overwhelming interest in Linkee has reached the point where we need to take everything up to the next level.

"To make this happen, we need to build our distribution and the John Adams partnership brings us all the tools to make that a certainty."

With over 45 years experience in toys and games, John adams' portfolio already includes successful brands such as Rubik's and Ideal, Othello and the renowned Doggie Doo, with distribution across the British market.

Linkee is Britain's first ever Crowd Sourced trivia game.

Simon Pilkington, managing director of John Adams, said: "Linkee is a fantastic game with lots of potential.

"The Crowd Sourcing aspect, an incredibly creative tool, gives Linkee a real point of difference and allows consumers to directly connect with the product."

In its appearance on the BBC television show that offers inventors the chance for investment, Team Linkee turned down an offer of £50,000 for a 40 per cent stake in its business from entrepreneur, Bannatyne. Read the full story here.
