The Licensing Awards 2007 are split into three categories - retail, product and property.

Within the 'product' category, Smiffy's (Little Britain dress-up), Rubie's (Scooby-Doo dress-up), Golden Bear (Shaun the Sheep plush), Mattel (Tickle Me Elmo), Lego, (Star Wars II video game), Vtech (Winnie the Pooh interactive range), Drumond Park (Deal or No Deal games), Bandai (Ben 10), Tomy (Nintendogs) and Hasbro (Spiderman 3 toys) are amongst the nominees battling it out for the various awards.

The finalists in each category will appear in the July 2007 Brand and Sport Licensing Source Book, as well as the autumn edition of the Licensing Source Book. The event itself - organised by Max Publishing - takes place on September 13th at The Royal Lancaster Hotel, London.

"Since the launch and incredible success of The Licensing Awards last year, the event has become a firm favourite in the annual calendar," said Ian Hyder, director of the Licensing Source Book. "This year's awards ceremony is set to be even bigger and better than last year with fantastic food, entertainment and a perfect networking opportunity."
