Licences shine in pre-school Dream list

The Dream Toys pre-school top 12 was dominated by licensed and technology-based product this year, with Mattel and Vtech featuring heavily.

Mattel featured four times on the list with Baby Gymnastics Bounce and Spin Zebra, Kid Tough Digital Camera, Turbo Tail Tigger and the Lazy Town Super Sportacus Set. For VTech V.Smile and V.Smile Baby featured along with its new play set range Smartville Alphabet Train Station.

Vtech and Bandai shine at TRA Awards

Vtech and Bandai were the big winners at last night’s Toy Retailer Association Awards, scooping the top two accolades, Toy Supplier of the Year and Toy of the Year 2005 respectively.
