Pre-school specialist Le Toy Van has scooped a win in this year’s Right Start Best Toy Awards for its popular TV806 Tractor Trails.

The firm managed to trump competition across 12 categories, emerging victorious in the Mini World category for toys priced £10 and under.

Le Toy Van’s collection of TV806 Tractor Trails were selected for the win by a panel of judges comprised of families, parents and children testers. It will discover if the win is Bronze, Silver or Gold at the Right Start Awards ceremony in October.

Marie Bureau, marketing manager at Le Toy Van believes the win will provide a huge boost to the brand only launched in the UK in April this year.

“The Tractor Trails are our best seller among our pocket money range PelMel,” she told ToyNews.

“A win like this is a seal of approval and it rewards all our team from design to sales as it means all our efforts are paying off. Award winning toys have to be new to be entered, so it means that each year we keep innovating some amazing award-winning toys.

“This is a perfect opportunity to put the award-winning toy range in the spot light. This is a great item, non gender, ideal for social play and colour recognition and they are ideal for summer.”
