It will run later than usual, from Wednesday January 30th to Saturday February 2nd - remaining at ExCeL in Docklands. The slight shift is due to next year's Boat Show dates.
This year's Toy Fair, meanwhile, has been hailed a huge success. Some 235 exhibitors took booths and numbers were on target across the four days.
Personal appearances includes Gary Lineker (Underground Ernie) and Jamie Redknapp (Match Master), plus record breaking attempts (Bedlam Cube), birthday celebrations (Brookite, Scalextric, Teletubbies and Vtech) and even a Las Vegas magic show.
The first ever first day press breakfast also went down well, with many media sources picking up on the positive news from NPD that the UK toy market grew by five per cent in 2006.
"We're delighted with the success of this year's Toy Fair and the support it received from the UK industry," said Kevin Jones, chairman of the British Toy & Hobby Association.
"The show actually sold out in November, which is testament to how important an event it is for exhibitors. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2008."
