MGA Entertainment is celebrating success in the US following the Lalaloopsy animated TV series being nominated in the Daytime Emmy Awards.

Lalaloopsy airs on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr. and has been shortlisted within the Achievement in Main Title and Graphic Design category.

The Awards ceremony has been going for 38 years and it culminates in a televised show that pays tribute to the exceptional work of daytime broadcasting’s elite.

The winners will be announced on June 22nd 2014 at a ceremony held at the Beverley Hilton Hotel, in Beverley Hills, CA.

“We are absolutely thrilled that the Lalaloopsy TV series has struck such success in the US,"said Marian Davis, MGA marketing manager.

"Being shortlisted in the Achievement in Main Title and Graphic Design category is a fantastic accomplishment for us, and we feel this further highlights the extraordinary creativity that went into the design work behind the Lalaloopsy brand. Needless to say we have everything crossed for June 22nd.”

Back in the UK, this month will see two Lalaloopsy movies debut on Nick Jr. 2.

“The Lalaloopsy movies offer fans engaging content and entertainment and provide strong brand building opportunities along with the lovingly created TV series, which has quickly become one of the top rated shows for girls aged four to six years," added Davis.
