K’nex Brands has welcomed a new addition to the team in new head of marketing, Alison Hubbard.

Hubbard has plenty of experience in the toy sector, having previously worked at the likes of Mattel, Tomy and Famosa and will take up her position in October as the company works towards a re-launch of the popular construction brand in January 2014.

“Alison’s addition to our team further demonstrates our commitment to developing the K’nex brand to its full potential in the UK market," said Paul Fogarty, managing director, K’nex UK.

"Her second-to-none industry experience and knowledge will be instrumental in continuing to grow and strengthen the brand as we move forward.

"With a brand and product portfolio that already resonates well with parents across the world, we are looking forward to working together to deliver positive results for K’nex here in the UK following our re-launch and beyond.”

2014 will mark the 20th anniversary of the K’nex brand in the UK and special marketing initiatives are to be announced at Toy Fair in January.
