Kids@play has signed up to a joint product development initiative with Stamp France, opening the Stamp UK office, and selling the range of trikes, Bikes, Go-karts & tri scooters.
The firm will also integrate the Stamp Range into its wheeled toys range and all products will be supported by the Kids@play spares & services centre in South Wales.
Malcolm Evans MD at Kids@play told ToyNews: "Both our companies Stamp & Kids@play have recently been developing very similar products, and to a certain extent using the same production facilities out in the far east. It’s so logical that we can help and assist each other, and join forces for selling, marketing and servicing the UK & Ireland.
"Kids@play have an extensive expertise in Battery powered vehicles and this is an area where we can bring greater knowledge and benefits to Stamp, for their French market."
Another company, Bontempi joined forces with Kids@play back in January this year. The firm says the distributorship has been most successful in increasing sales of the Bontempi brand.
In other news, Chris Noad has joined Kids@Play as general sales manager, Noad begins the role with immediate effect and joins with a wealth of experience which will help the company continue its growth plans over the coming years.
Evans commented: "We are really pleased to welcome Chris to the team, Our business is growing rapidly and we need the skills Chris has to maximise the many opportunities."
And in yet more news, the firm is positioning itself to become "a major force in 2013 for wheeled toys". The battery powered vehicles range is to expand significantly, and will include leading licences such as Star Wars.
