Kids@Play brings new construction toy to UK

Kids@Play is bringing a new construction toy to the UK and Ireland.

Artec Building Blocks - from Japanese toy developers Artec - boasts a "3D dimension". 

It's part of a fresh range of science and educational products.

Welsh toy company Kids@Play's new range will feature products such as a working hovercraft, a build-your-own metal detector, a walking robot, microscope and a remote control car, all retailing at under £10.

Also in the range are Biology and Chemistry sets retailing at £4.99.

"We are all really excited here in Wales," said Malcom Evans, founder of Kids@Play.

"It is great to have a completely new and unique range of products. Artec is the largest manufacturer of educational materials in Japan, and with Kids@Play's help, we are going to develop over 500 new educational products for this year and the next."
