Specialist balance bike developer Kiddimoto has bolstered its sales force with a new cycling and automotive specialist.

Ian Carter has joined the firm as UK sales manager, boasting vast experience ranging from working for independent retailers to developing dealers for Ford UK.

“I am really looking forward to working with all Kiddimoto’s customers,” he said.

“We have some great products that fit into many sectors I am very familiar with.

“My kids used to ride Kiddimoto’s when they were younger, so I know the benefits of balance bikes first hand.”

Carter will now focus on Kidimoto’s cycle and motorbike sectors.

“These are two massive growth areas, with the explosion of cycling over the past couple of years, Tour de France starting in Leeds and the women’s cycling scene going from strength to strength, it is an ideal time to focus on these areas,” Carter added.

The Kiddimoto team has welcomed the new appointment.

Simon Booth, Kiddimoto MD, said: “Ian’s unique toy and automotive experience, complimented by his expertise in both multi-national companies and SMEs means he is uniquely placed to understand and grow our customer’s sales.

“In only his first week, I have ben really impressed with the way he has picked up the Kiddimoto style and has jumped feet first into developing these vital sectors.”
