KD UK (InspirationWorks UK) has been nominated and shortlisted by HSBC for its Global Connections award.
The final event will be held at the Tower of London in June, where awards will be allocated for excellence in innovation and market growth.
KD UK has grown from zero at inception in 2005 to $69 million USD in 2013 (including UK export).
Director and general manager, David Martin, said: “It has been an exciting journey and a real fast track as the world of technology continues to grow so quickly, and especially in the children’s sector where the demand for Smartphones and Android tablet devices just keeps accelerating and reaching ever younger children.
“We are now partners with Google and Intel, and the new Kurio Motion technology which we have patented takes kids’ tablet entertainment to a new level. It’s a real honour and very exciting to be shortlisted by HSBC for this prestigious award.”
HSBC senior international commercial manager, Neal Carter, added: “KD UK have really proved what can be achieved in challenging trading conditions and we are delighted they are on our Global Connections short list.”
