Jumbo Games is continuing to add to its licensed portfolio, signing a deal to produce puzzles for pre-school property Bananas in Pyjamas.

The two and a half year agreement was brokered with Turner CN Enterprises, and will see the firm create two Bananas in Pyjamas puzzles aimed at three to five year olds.

A 35-piece puzzle assortment and a 4-in-1 shaped puzzle are due to launch in September, with the games being added to the range in spring/summer 2013.

"Since its first broadcast, Bananas in Pyjamas has been a phenomenal success and continues to be loved by pre-schoolers around the world," said Gray Richmond, MD of Jumbo Games. "It's a fantastic property to have in our portfolio and will strengthen our position as a leading children's puzzle specialist."

Graham Saltmarsh, licensing director at Turner CN Enterprises UK, added: "Jumbo brings its solid experience of creating licensed puzzles for pre-schoolers to the Bananas in Pyjamas licensing programme, which is rapidly securing the attentions of licensees in the pre-school space.

"Jumbo's puzzles capture the fun-loving personality and problem solving brand essence of Bananas in Pyjamas and will catch the eye of mums and kids alike on shelf when it launches in Q3."
