John Hales, who founded Golden Bear with marketing director, Christine Nicholls, will remain as Chairman. Robert Hales, whilst remaining a director of the company and fully involved in the company’s future, will be spending more time developing his successful fishing business.

“I welcome Clive to Golden Bear and I am sure he will make a significant contribution to the future success of the business,” said Hales.

Jones will take up his new position in March.
