The most recent addition to electronic arts, EA Hasbro is a fast growing business unit, providing opportunities in an entrepreneurial environment.

Combining Hasbro brands in toys, games, and family entertainment with EA's game development and publishing expertise, EA Hasbro video games are set to reach new audiences and offer new opportunities for families to re-engage through the digital entertainment experience.

The firm is currently looking for a designer contractor to work alongside its internal development team on our new IP Family Game Night. Contracts are available to start mid-March until around the end of May 2009 and are based in the Guildford studios.

EA is looking for game designers who have proven design work (idea generation, documentation, implementation) of one or more core features in a published game.

Key skills required for this role include experience working hands-on with artists and programmers on core game features and experience and interest in working on casual or younger audience games.

The successful candidate will have an understanding of factors involved in working with licensed properties and will be articulate, with good written and presentation skills.

The firm is looking for someone with some experience or interest in designing interfaces and features for casual or younger audience games. A general computer literacy and console and market familiarity is required along with experience on Wii, 360, PS3 and DS.
