The site at www.toyinventions.co.uk has been set up to be a central hub for private or freelance inventors or even inventor groups to post and share information about toy inventing.

Forum founder Mike Elliot told ToyNews: “I have been contacted quite a few times by individual inventors from all around the world, both new and experienced to trade information about ‘inventor friendly’ toy companies. Believe it or not these are pretty hard to find if you don’t know where to look. We have discussed various topics including packaging, licensing, patents, design software. Story boards, sell sheets, toy agents and brokers and lots more.

“There are lots of toy inventors out there with lots of new and great ideas just waiting to find a toy company to take a look. This is why I feel we need to promote the individual toy inventor and small inventor groups.

“We hope to bring together people with knowledge of all areas of toy inventing whether completely new or part of an existing successful toy manufacturing companies from around the world.”
