Intelex Penguin plush to get further boost

Penguin character is already one of the firm's best selling lines.

Intelex is expecting sales of its popular Penguin plush character to be given a further boost in the run up to Christmas, partly thanks to the John Lewis TV ad campaign featuring Monty the Penguin.

Priced at £11.95, Intelex's Cozy Plush Penguin is filled with treated millet and gently scented with lavender. Simply warm in the microwave for two minutes to release the aroma.

"Our range of microwavable Cozy Plush toys have been very popular since we launched in 2002," explained Philip Gannon, founder and CEO of Intelex Group. "The Penguin character is one of our best sellers within the Cozy range and has really increased in popularity over the years with the launch of various characters on TV and the big screen.

"Our customers have already commented the John Lewis penguin is of a similar design to our own Cozy Plush Penguin, with the added advantage, of course, that ours is fully heatable."

Other characters included in the Cozy Plush range include Badger, Bear, Bee, Bunny, Cat and Cow, Owl, Panda and more.
