IMC Toys has revealed that’s its Club Petz plush range has proven to be the best selling brand within the feature plush category for 2015.
According to NPD data, the Club Petz brand grew nearly four times as fast as the category, and was responsible for a quarter of all value gained with the total super category.
Kirsten Chambers, marketing manager at IMC Toys, said: “IMC is delighted with the success of the Club Petz range, to say we have a number one selling brand is incredible, the sales are a testament to the innovation within our business.”
IMC Toys has also revealed it will be growing its plush business further, with various new items for 2016 including Yoyo Panda, Bim Bim & Bam Bam the bouncing squirrel and hamster, Kokum the interactive lion and Martina a walking turtle.
“The new products coming into the range for next year look extremely promising and the reaction from the trade has been fantastic. We are spending more than ever on TV advertising and will be looking to maintain this top spot for years to come,” added Chambers.
