The game is the best-selling racing franchise in history and Imagination is launching a brand new trading card game, for sale in time for Christmas.

“We’re thrilled to join forces with EA on this groundbreaking franchise,” said Imagination’s European Commercial Director Steve Reece. “We are very excited to be able to bring a breath of fresh air to the trading card game category with such a hugely popular and powerful brand, which retailers know will bring strong sales.”

Need for Speed Trading Card Game is available this week with a range of prices from £2.49 up to £9.99. The game is geared for 2-4 players ages 8 and up.

The trading card launch will also coincide with the launch of Need for Speed ProStreet, the latest edition of the game.
