HTI has signed multi-territory license deal to manufacture and supply Chicco dolls prams and pushchairs for EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

The move is part of HTI’s plans to increase its international presence by gaining additional sales in existing markets and launch to new territories.

The first wave of HTI manufactured dolls prams and pushchairs will land in retailers from this autumn and will offer a selection of designs across price points with features and styling inspired by real life Chicco nursery models.

The new line has been billed as the latest stepping stone to help HTI take its international business to the ‘next level.’

Anthony Grimaud, HTI vice president global sales, said: “As the UK market leader in the dolls prams and pushchairs category, we are delighted to have secured this license partnership with Chicco, who is a master brand within the baby care world market.

“With 90 per cent brand awareness in evolved countries worldwide, the Chicco name is globally well known and respected by parents.

"This license deal will enable HTI to expand international business in terms of gaining additional sales in existing markets and also penetration of new markets, by offering a range of quality dolls prams and pushchairs that are inspired by and fully branded with this established and internationally well known nursery brand name.”
