Following the exit of Chris Spalding from his post as CEO of HTI last month, the toy firm has welcomed a new executive director.

Colin Houlihan has stepped into the role, boasting 20 years experience and expertise in business strategy, brand development and customer value.

In his new role at HTI, Houlihan will partner with HTI Chairman John Hutt to provide strategic leadership and direction to the firm’s global operation.

The appointment follows the announcement of Spalding’s resignation from his post as CEO, 18 months since taking up the role.

Hutt, said: “I am delighted to welcome Colin to the HTI Board of Directors. He brings many years of expert business knowledge and experience which will be invaluable in assisting HTI in its dynamic growth strategy to take the business to the next level.”
