The new range, which will cover all major price points, will be available from autumn/winter 2010.

Working closely with Disney Consumer Products, the toys are being designed with close attention to brand and character relevance featuring specially tooled character moulds as well as Winnie the Pooh sounds and the instantly recognisable theme tune.

The new line will include the My First Kitchen Play-set, a Winnie the Pooh Musical Vacuum Cleaner, a Winnie the Pooh Baking Set, a Winnie the Pooh Tea Set and a Winnie the Pooh Birthday Cake with light-up candle.

Andrew Coplestone, HTI licensing director, commented: “As the leading manufacturer in the UK role-play market, we are absolutely thrilled to have won the rights to develop Winnie the Pooh role-play toys.

“Our unrivalled expertise in this category will enable us to develop a fantastic range of Winnie the Pooh toys. HTI’s innovative, brand relevant approach coupled with Disney’s strategic brand marketing support for 2010 and beyond is sure to secure the success of this exciting range.”
