HIT has further strengthened its strategic partnership with Chapman Entertainment, expanding its representation of Roary the Racing Car and Fifi and the Flowertots to include Live Events and Attractions in the UK and internationally.

It will commence development on a range of live events and attraction formats including themed days out, live shows, non-ticketed events such as meet and greets and theme parks.

HIT's Live Events and Attractions business has been experiencing significant growth after the Company developed a number of new live events and attractions opportunities, including a unique branded concept club called The Little Big Club with the first club scheduled to open in Dubai in 2009.

The Little Big Club will feature both HIT properties and third party properties such as Chapman’s Roary and Fifi. HIT also opened Europe’s first Thomas Land at Drayton Manor Theme Park in the UK earlier this year.

The firm currently represents Chapman’s preschool properties in the US, Canada and Japan for Consumer Products and Television distribution with the Company recently securing broadcast and licensing partners for Fifi in the US and Canada. Fifi made its US debut on PBS KIDS SproutSM in January and Roary the Racing Car is set to premiere on the channel in October.

Teri Ruffley, General Manager Live Events and Attractions HIT Entertainment said: “HIT and Chapman Entertainment have a long and rich history together and we are delighted to be expanding our relationship and representing two exciting preschool properties in the most exciting growth area of the licensing business. We have been successfully building our Live Events and Attractions business into a world class operation and we look forward to working with Chapman in developing some fresh, new concepts in this area.”

Val Fry, Director of Licensing, Chapman Entertainment commented, “Fifi and Roary’s young fans love to interact with their heroes at live events and this thrilling new relationship with market leaders Hit Entertainment will allow us to grow our much-loved characters presence both in the UK and internationally.”
