More than 100 exhibitors took to the Independent Toy and Gift Show last week, in what the organisers said was 'the best show to date'.

The event, held at Cranmore Park, Solihull, ran from Tuesday, April 16th until Wednesday, April 17th.

Showcasing their ranges for Autumn and christmas 2013, exhibitors included key suppliers LEGO, Hasbro and Mattel.

Miles Penhallow, manager of buying group AIS' toy division Play-room, said: "We're really happy with the continued growth of our show and very proud of the quality venue we have at our disposal.

"Our visitor numbers were significantly increased by both new and returning retailers and our marketing activity encouraged more AIS members to attend.

"Exhibitors reported that this was the best show to date and the new format and layout was well received."

ToyNews attended the show to capture a look at what toy suppliers have on offer this coming autumn/winter.
