Hexbug, the line of miniature robotic bugs from Innovation First, has launched its first mobile gaming app.

Created in collaboration with Behaviour Interactive, Hexbug Havoc allows fans to race and battle the Nano V2 bug.

At the start of each mission, players can choose their own Nano V2 before exploring numerous tracks and tubes filled with collectables, power-ups and enemies to battle.

The app is available to download for free from the Apple App Store as well as through the Game Centre, where players can challenge friends and post scores to Facebook and Twitter.

Bob Mimlitch, co-founder and chief technology officer at Innovation First International, said: “This game will bring fans even closer to the fun of Hexbug’s playful, adventurous robotic creatures.

“The new platform is a fun, free complement to our existing robotic toys, allowing users to easily take their Hexbugs on the go, while leaving their tracks and physical bugs at home.

“The game is totally addictive.”
