HERO PRODUCT: Wasgij Destiny, Jumbo

This year marks the 15th anniversary of adult puzzle brand, Wasgij, with the launch of a limited edition ?time travelling? puzzle to coincide with the Queen?s Jubilee being a key part of the celebrations?.

Packaged in a limited edition tin, which has been designed to appeal to Wasgij fans and puzzle enthusiasts alike, the 15th anniversary collection will contain two 1,000-piece puzzles drawn by Wasgij artist, Graham Thompson.

The first will depict a street party from 1952, while the second puzzle – a Wasgij Destiny concept – will imagine a scene in the future. Puzzlers will have to use their imagination and the clues provided to piece together the puzzle.

In addition, the tin will feature an on-pack promotion which will see Jumbo give away over £45,000 worth of diamonds. One winner will receive a rare white, pear-shaped diamond worth £12,000, while five runners up will each win a rare white, round-cut diamond worth £7,000. 

Customers will be able to enter the competition at the new look Wasgij website, which launched this month and is also mobile enabled so that puzzlers can enjoy it while on the go. The site also includes extra hints for puzzlers, latest news and promotions.

“2012 is a significant milestone for Wasgij, which has built up a strong and loyal following over the past 15 years,” said Gray Richmond, MD of Jumbo Games. 

“We wanted to mark this occasion in what is already a big year for Britain by creating a commemorative, limited edition puzzle which we are confident will be a real hit with puzzlers and a great collector’s item, too.

“The diamond promotion will also really strengthen the launch and encourage Wasgij fans to explore and enjoy the new Wasgij website.”
