Chloe’s Closet became the number one TV show for girls aged four to nine and mums with children from birth to three years old in January of this year. Currently on CITV and Cartoonito, there will be new episodes in 2012.
Coinciding with this is a new toy collection from Golden Bear, which will be ready to hit shelves in August.
The new collection will include figures with accessories, a play-set, soft toys and plush dress-up dolls, with the initial launch in the UK and Ireland in time for autumn/winter 2012. European and worldwide territories are set to be added at a later date.
Strong TV advertising will support key lines, while a full marketing and PR campaign is set to increase awareness with fans and parents.
One such key line for 2012 is the soft fabric Dress-up Chloe Doll, with two dress-up outfits to turn Chloe into a Princess and Cowgirl.
Retailers will also be able to take advantage of instant purchase treats with the Mini Soft Toys, available as Chloe, Princess Chloe and Lovely Carrot, which come in a branded CDU. In addition, the Singing Chloe Ragdoll is presented in a ‘try me’ box, with two songs and phrases.
Alternatively, for miniature role-play, there are three Dress-Up Figure sets to collect, plus Chloe’s Magical Dress-Up Closet; a TV advertised line which includes Chloe, three outfits with scene cards and the Magical Closet.
With strong TV and marketing support, the best in programming for the TV series and a burgeoning list of complementary licensees, Chloe’s Closet is set to make its mark in the Golden Bear portfolio.
