The company is looking for someone to take sole responsibility for leading the future of Wow marketing both in the UK and with its foreign distribution partners.

The marketing manager will be responsible for the design, development and execution of both b2b and b2c UK marketing plans alongside the UK sales and design department and the MD.

Within this role, the successful candidate will plan and execute printed marketing material including brochures and catalogues; manage the new products launch process and plan and co-ordinate the UK and International Toy Fairs.

The position will include travel to at least ten trips a year to many countries in Europe and beyond.

The successful candidate will also provide product training and support to sales personnel to facilitate the effective promotion of products.

Wow is looking for someone with strong analytical skills, who can take onboard complex information, process it quickly and present it back clearly and simply.

The ideal candidate will be a ‘team player’ as the role involves working with most departments in the company.

The company is also looking for someone who is well organised and has strong interpersonal skills.

Applicants must be educated to degree level, possibly with an international profile or foreign language and advanced MS Office skills.

Potential candidates will need to have a minimum of four years experience in the toy industry or youth market. A competitive salary is offered.

WOW Toys was founded in 1997 by a team of ex Hasbro, Brio and ELC product managers. Eleven years on, the learning never stops and with it the company successfully grows. WOW team members have joined from Lego, Playmobil and Hasbro.

WOW believes that the best pre-school toys do not need batteries. Its products are distributed across the UK and in 35 countries via its strategic distribution partners. The aim is to reach 60 countries by 2012.
