Hasbro inks Infogrames deal

Toy firm scoops online and wireless rights for games franchises.

French video games maker Infogrames Entertainment has sold online and wireless rights to nine games franchises to Hasbro for $19.5 million.

The properties include Monopoly, Scrabble, Risk, Game of Life, Cluedo, Yahtzee, Simon, Battleships and Boggle.

As part of the same deal, the company has also signed an agreement with Hasbro extending until 2017 its concession on the intellectual property rights to the Dungeons and Dragons concept.
