The firm will be opening a new, permanent 300 sq. metre showroom at the Nuremburg Messe exhibition centre.

The move is a strategic decision by Halsall underlining a strong commitment to its international growth strategy. The firm says it will also be retaining its significant stand presence at the London Excel Toy Fair in January.

The new showroom, located in Hall 12 of the Nuremberg Messe, will provide Halsall with an important location from which to showcase its extensive portfolio of international licensed ranges and core own brand products to its worldwide customer base all year round.

Scheduled to open early February 2009, the space will also host the company’s presence at the Nuremburg Toy Fair 2009 and future annual Toy Fairs at the venue, supporting the launch of the company’s Autumn Winter 2009 product lines and providing a display area for exclusive presentations to retailers and distributors.

Halsall MD John Hutt (pictured), commented: “Strategically this is a significant move for the company as we continue to expand international business. Halsall’s investment into this fantastic, permanent showroom space in the Nuremberg Messe affirms the company’s commitment to its international growth strategy.

"Halsall is proud to have been awarded pan-European license deals for leading brands such as Barbie, Spiderman, Ben 10, Baby Annabell and Baby Born as well as world-wide license rights for JCB and The Simpsons and territory specific deals on Dora the Explorer, Science Museum and WWE. This bespoke designed showroom will enable us to present all of these ranges and many more to maximum effect in THE centre for international toy sales”.
