Hallmark's line of Itty Bittys plush collectables are set to hit UK shelves in October.

The range, featuring characters from comic books, film and TV, has already enjoyed success in the US and Australia and the first characters available to UK shoppers will be Super Heroes, Snoopy and Charlie Brown, Scooby Doo and The Wizard of Oz.

Batman is the top selling Itty Bitty in the US and he will be available from the brand's October launch in the UK.

"Itty Bittys are the perfect collector's item and can appeal to people of all ages," said Alison Kildunne, head of brand and marketing for Hallmark.

"Their small, four inch stature makes them a perfect stocking filler and an ideal accompaniment to a greetings card. The ranges have been incredibly popular in the US, with sales increasing by 800 per cent in its second year and in Australia, half of the range sold out in the first few months following their launch."

Hallmark will be backing Itty Bitty stockists with free point of sale and multi-buy promotions.
