Haba names new agent

Breton (pictured) joins Terry Griffiths for London and the South East and Karen Muircroft for Scotland.

Breton, who runs an agency business operating in the South West as far as Gloucestershire, South Wales and the Channel Islands, brings a wealth of experience, having worked in sales for 32 years and was also previously owner of a small chain of children’s clothing, toy and gift shops in South Devon.

Breton commented: “Haba sits well alongside my other agency products offering an overall quality image and successful sales for retailers.

"I am a firm believer in service, so Haba customers can expect to receive as much support and advice from me as they want – and having retail experience of my own in a similar environment – I can offer a sympathetic and realistic approach.”

Having been out of action for several months in early 2010 owing to an accident, Terry Griffiths is now back in the swing of things and reports significant growth in his region and a good year for Haba with many new businesses on board.

Griffiths said: “The profile of Haba has risen considerably in the last year or so, with more and more retailers stocking its products and some interesting trends have emerged.

"Foremost is the interest in ‘role play’ toys and in particular the Mini Toy Shop and soft fabric and wooden foods. Another product which has received huge attention is the Haba Ball Track System with its myriad of accessories reproducing ‘cause and effect’ as taught in schools.”
