GUND: Business as usual after acquisition

Gund UK says it will be "business as usual" after its parent firm's sale to Enesco.

Gund's Mike Ganley said: "It really is an exciting time in that Enesco are a global leader in the gift industry and one of the largest manufacturers and distributors giftware in Europe. Like Gund, they have a strong stable of gift brands and have won both trade and consumer awards for their service to the independent Retailer”.

Ganley said there would be no changes to the firm's UK operation.

He added: "The real winners are our retailers who we thank most gratefully for their past business and promise that we will endeavour to do our utmost to continue to support them in the future”.
