Good Housekeeping honours 20 toys

Kids and experts pick the winners in the magazine's fourth annual Best Toy Awards

Good Housekeeping magazine has published a list of 20 award-winning toys in a picture gallery on it's website.

A panel from the Good Houskeeping Research Institute (GHRI) considered hundreds of toys before arriving at a shortlist of 85.

Those toys were then subjected to rigorous testing
by children aged three to 14. The 115 kids had their work cut out, filling in close to 1,000 forms over seven days of testing.

All of the Best Toy Awards winners were also subjected to a series of rigourous safety tests.
