Goliath acquires Britz Marketing and eyes global growth for Wahu and Britz 'n' Pieces

Goliath has acquired the Britz Marketing business, bringing the popular Wahu and Britz ‘n’ Pieces brands under the Crown & Andrews company portfolio.

The deal between the two Australian toy forms will be completed on March 28 this year.

“We are confident that combining these two iconic Australian companies will reinforce Goliath’s position as a major player in the Australian market,” said Adi Gload, founder of Goliath.

“I am very happy to welcome Britz ‘n’ Pieces and Wahu into the Goliath family. Wahu is the number one outdoor brand in Australia and we are excited to continue to grow the business in Australia as well as take the brand around the world. We have just shown the range at the New York Toy Fair and have already had great international response.”

Tim Britz, founder of Britz Marketing will continue to be involved in the business in a special advisory capacity.

Britz said: “We are very pleased to become part of a great company that operates globally, which will be a perfect launch platform to distribute the Wahu & Nippas around the world.”
