Gift Association unveils 2009 winners

Interplay and Fiesta Crafts are named in this year?s Gift of the Year winners and highly commended list.

Interplay’s Dangerous Books for Boys Science and Hobby Kits took the top prize for the under £10 category and Fiesta Crafts’ Bunny Family Holiday Pull along car and caravan was highly Commended in the kids category.

Ross Ainsworth, managing director of Interplay, commented: “We are obviously delighted with the award - a lot of effort has been put into making these hobby kits a success and we feel proud to have been chosen from all categories of gifts in this price range.

“Each project inside is fun and interesting to do and the packaging is attractive and nostalgic; a very important aspect when buying a gift.”

Rob Trup, Fiesta Crafts’ marketing manager said: “We are all delighted that the GA have judged the Bunny Family Holiday Pullalong as deserving of this award.

"At Fiesta Crafts, we are totally dedicated to producing original and imaginative toys that will be loved by children and it very exciting to once again see one of our toys recognised by the GA awards.”
