Puzzle specialist Gibsons has secured a new deal with Love Productions to develop a line of jigsaws based on The Great British Bake Off.
The family-owned firm will be releasing 500 and 1000 piece puzzles depicting a montage of images from the show, including ‘showstopper’ bakes from series one to seven.
The line will be followed by a specially packaged puzzle, arriving in a cake tin and launched as part of the firm’s popular Brands Collection.
“This quintessentially British show is the perfect match for Gibsons and we are extremely excited to see The Great British Bake Off jigsaw puzzles on our retailer’s shelves,” said Geoff Lee, director of business development at Gibsons.
The Great British Bake Off has grown in popularity over the last few years with series six reaching an audience of 15.1 million viewers, the biggest TV audience of 2015.
“We are delighted to be working with Gibsons Games on this range,” added Rupert Frisby, director of legal and commercial affairs at Love Productions.
“Jigsaw puzzles are a great way to capture iconic moments from the show.”
The Great British Bake Off now joins a growing portfolio of licensed puzzle titles that includes Marmite, Mr Men and Vintage Kelloggs.
