Galt Toys has launched its First Rattle Set, a selection of four rattles that babies can wear on their wrists and feet.

The latest addition to Galt’s First Years Range is designed to encourage babies to shake their arms and kick their legs, making the characters rattle with each movement.

Suitable for babies aged naught upwards, the First Rattle Set carries a price tag of £10.99.

‘The friendly animal faces, vibrant colors and textures are perfect for helping develop senses, visual perception and colour recognition in a baby’s first few weeks,’ read a statement from the firm.

John McDonnell, managing director of Galt Toys, said: “The rattle is ideal to stimulate a young baby’s sensory and physical development.

“Encouraging babies to move their arms and legs is a great way to build their strength and coordination from an early age.”
