Galt Toys has launched its first Horrible Histories Art Set.

Based on Scholastic's best selling children's history books, the new Awesome Art Set contains over 100 pieces to help children create the artwork.

Stencils created by Horrible Histories illustrator Martin Brown, will let fans paint and draw historical characters featured in the books written by Terry Deary.

The art set also contains four metallic paints, five marker pens, six paint pens, a shield shaped watercolour tray, an art pad, ten postcards, 60 stickers, three stencil sheets and 60 wiggly eyes.

The Awesome Art Set will retail at £14.99 and is available from www.galttoys.com

John McDonnell, MD at Galt Toys, said: "We are massive fans of the Horrible Histories series, so we're delighted to add this product to our ever growing creative art range.

"All the children have to do is have a stab at it - this awesome art set will power the imagination."
