The fourth annual Blog On event took place over the Bank Holiday Weekend, where some of the UK’s most influential parenting bloggers and toy brands attended.
Taking place at the Manchester Science & Industry Museum, the event provides an opportunity for companies to meet with bloggers face-to-face, to showcase new products and create relationships to help build their brand.
This year also saw the event hashtag #BlogOnMSI trend across Twitter in the UK for 19 hours, with a reach of 1.5 million users.
Laura Seaton, founder of Blog On, said: “Since its inception, Blog On has really taken on a life of its own and is now a massive part of the bloggers calendar. It has become a place where bloggers cannot only come and learn new skills but meet different brands and find out how they can work together.
“Our brands really see the benefits in attending and return time and again. Due to its success we are looking to add more dates so would urge businesses to get involved.”
During this year’s show, the likes of Sambro, Character Options, Brainstorm Toys, Flair, Esdevium Games and Trends UK all turned up to the networking event.
Ian Cuthbert, business development manager at Sambro, added: “This was the first Blog On event I had personally attended and I was extremely impressed with not only the slick organization, but also the calibre of bloggers in attendance.
“Working closely with bloggers is very much part of Sambro’s marketing plans going forward and it was a great opportunity to meet parenting bloggers we can work with to take our brands forward.”
