Former owners eye RoseArt buy-back

According to US sources the former owners of RoseArt are keen to buy back the firm from Mega Brands.

Reports say Lawrence and Jeffrey Rosen, the former owners of RoseArt Industries sent a letter to Mega Brands last month expressing an interest in buying back its RoseArt activity and stationery businesses.

The Rosens sold RoseArt to Mega Brands in 2005 for $350 million. In the year before the sale, the firm achieved sales of $285 million and an operating profit of $43 million.
