Flair scoops Aardman deal

Flair has signed a licensing deal with Aardman Animations to produce a range of creative play sets based on the firm's well-known character line-up.

The firm will be developing a line of creative play products for Shaun the Sheep - with Plasticine, Aqua Beads, Shaker Maker, plus others ready for spring 2008. In addition Morph and Wallace & Gromit licensed Plasticine Sets will also be developed.

Simon Hedge, commercial director of Flair, said: “The signing of this agreement is fantastic news for Plasticine. We see the move as a ‘strategic alliance’, particularly as the Plasticine brand and the Aardman characters have obvious fundamental links and we have great plans for this exciting opportunity going forward”
