Flair launches bride promo

Flair is set to follow up last year’s successful Sylvanian Families Search for a Star initiative with a new campaign to tie in with the spring launch of the line’s new wedding theme.

This year’s competition is to find the Sylvanian Families Bridesmaid of the Year, with children and brides being invited to nominate who they think is a star bridesmaid.

A national prize and a number of regional runner-up prizes can be won. The winner will get their own dream day with a fashion spending spree along with a photoshoot and Sylvanian Families prizes, whilst runners up will win complete sets from the new wedding theme.

The campaign is to be publicised in the national press including bridal magazines and in store at collector’s centres with POS posters and leaflets.

Flair Marketing Manager, Yvonne Pestridge, said: “Last year’s Search for a Star campaign was a huge success, encouraging great interaction with the brand and really emphasising the wholesome family values that make Sylvanian Families so unique in the girls’ collector’s market.

“We are confident that, with such a beautifully appealing new range and accompanying marketing support from Flair, this year’s campaign will be even more successful.”

Flair/Schleich win TRU awards

Toys R Us has awarded its annual Vendor of the Year Awards in the Toy, Babies, Consumer Electronics categories, plus two new categories - Supplier of the Year and Special Consistency Awards -  with Flair winning the Toy award and Schleich supplier of the year.
