First London International Antique Doll Teddy Bear and Toy Fair heads to Olympia

Antiques Roadshow's Bunny Campione will open the inaugral event celebrating 200 years of childhood and taking place in November 2016.

Collections of rare antique dolls, teddy bears and toys will be heading to London Olympia as part of a new exhibition looking back on 200 years of childhood.

The show marks the first time in over 15 years that an event on this scale has been devoted solely to vintage toys.

The London International Antique Doll Teddy Bear and Toy Fair will take place on November 20th, next year and will deliver a host of dealers, expert and talks as well as the chance to purchase rare toys.

The one day show, occupying Olympia London’s Pillar Hall, will be opened by BBC Antiques Roadshow stalwart Bunny Campione, an expert on dolls, dolls’ houses and soft toys.

The event is expected to attract dealer and collectors from across the globe and tickets will be priced at £5.

“We are delighted to be bringing the first London International Antique Doll, Teddy Bear and toy fair to Olympia’s Pillar Hall,” said event organisers Daniel Agnew and Hilary Pauley.

“It’s a beautiful and enchanting space right in the middle of west London and couldn’t b better placed for the international visitors to reach as well as providing a charming antique setting for the exhibition.”

The London International Antique dolls Teddy Bear and Toy Fair website will go live from the end of September at www.200yearsofchildhood.co.uk.
