A picture of the first ever LEGO set to be based on The Simpsons has emerged on an online brick building fan forum.

The image - leaked by Eurobricks user Carlos S - is of what is purportedly the first Simpsons LEGO set, showing the family at their 742 Evergreen Terrace home.

With no confirmation from LEGO as to whether or not the set is legitimate, there is no word on a price or a release date for the set, reports the Metro.

The 2,523 piece set pictured includes six mini figures, including Bart and a skate ramp, Lisa, Maggie, Homer, Marge and neighbour Ned Flanders.

The image also indicates that the set can be opened up to reveal the interior of the Simpsons' home.

This image is the latest in a series of online leaks of the LEGO Simpsons, and follows the release of various images purported to be Simpson Minifigures on eBay.
