Strider SuperEnduro racing hit Liverpool's Echo Arena last week, showcasing the UK's best no-pedal balance bike talent.

The pint sized riders - all aged between three and five - raced Strider no-pedal balance bikes head to head over tricky obstacles on a purpose build off-road SuperEnduro course.

Strider worked with the SuperEnduro Grand Prix team to create the unique opportunity for toddlers and young children from the region to not only ride and race the balance bikes in front a crowd, but also take part in the first ever balance bike SuperEnduro event to be held in Europe.

"The Strider SuperEnduro is a fantastic addition to this year's balance bike racing schedule and follows our hugely successful championship series which crowned the 2013 British age group champions this September," said Melanie Thomas, Strider's driving force behind the event.

"Our aim has always been to inspire children to get out there and have a go, and this truly unique event gave the riders the chance to get a taste of what it's like to ride at a major event in front of an arena crowd. The truly amazing thing is that some of the riders had only just celebrated their third birthday."

Mason Groves (3), Theo Rowles (4) and Oakley Kettle (5) took victory in their age group categories.
