Firebox has been awarded T3’s Best Retailer of the Year over competitors Amazon, John Lewis and Dixons.

Voted on by readers of the magazine, Firebox is described as “your first port of call for the very best in boys toys”.

Michael Smith, CEO and co-founder of Firebox.com, said: “It’s an incredible honour just to be placed against prestigious retail giants in an award such as this – to win is an added bonus!”

“This award is validation that we’re pioneers for customer satisfaction; from the products we select to the customer and delivery service, Firebox believes that any success is directly related to our fantastic and loyal customers. This award really belongs to them,” Smith said.

Michael Brook, T3 Magazine’s editor added “We’ve watched Firebox grow into a major player within the last ten years; their products are innovative, fun and usually first to market, and so it’s no wonder our readers felt that they deserved to win this award!”
