Famosa signs master toy deal for Heidi

The Spanish toy firm will roll out new dolls, plush, play-sets and more for 2015.

Spanish toy firm, Famosa has signed a master toy deal for the classic children’s brand, Heidi.

The new partnership will see the firm develop an extensive range of product based on the show, covering dolls, plush, playsets, ride-ons and outdoor houses.

The product will roll out across Italy, Spain, Portugal and Greece as well as France, Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa and will coincide with the launch of a new CGI series of Heidi in 2015.

“We are proud to be working with Famosa as we know its high quality products will capture the essence of Heidi’s character fully engaging the fans of yesterday and tomorrow,” said Marie-Laure Marchand, international licensing director at Studio 100.

Eduardo Garagorri, chief marketing officer at Famosa, added: “This is a great opportunity for the company and new challenge that we undertake with huge enthusiasm.

“Heidi is a beloved and appreciated brand by children, so we are excited and look forward to starting this new phase.”
