Modelzone has opened a new store in Central London's New Oxford Street.

The retailer is celebrating the shop opening by inviting F1 driver Rodolfo Gonzalez to conduct the ribbon ceremony. Plus, it's handing out free goody bags worth £75 to the first 30 customers through its doors.

The official launch event will kick off at 9.30am on Monday, June 3rd.

All customers will also get the opportunity to enter an exclusive free prize draw to win £500 worth of ModelZone vouchers during the day.

The launch event will feature a special appearance from the Marussia F1 team in the morning, followed by a ribbon ceremony conducted by Gonzalez at 12.30pm.

Meanwhile, Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers will be present throughout the day for photo opportunities with fans.

The opening of the new store follows the recent closure of ModelZone's flagship central London store in Holborn, due to site redevelopment.
