Ex-Mega Brands execs Mary Price and David Martin have launched a new UK-based toy company called Addo Play.

Launching this month from already established offices in the UK, Europe and Hong Kong, the company aims to 'approach toy design and supply from a fresh perspective'.

Price and Martin are co-managing directors of the company, and a statement from the firm says they 'have assembled an amazing group of talented industry experts with backgrounds in some of the biggest toy manufacturers and retailers on the planet.'

'The objective is to create multiple lines of trustworthy toys at outstanding value, through intelligent, caring and safe design, whilst innovating the traditional business model to deliver an exciting new solution for its international retail and distribution network,' continued the firm.

'Addo Play aims to be a really great partner: to behave ethically, efficiently, flexibly, honestly, and to be clear in all it does, offering value for money and simplicity in all aspects of the business.'
